TAIC, also known as Triallyl isocyanurate is widely used in cross-linking agent, modifier, assistant vulcanizing agent and for various thermoplastic plastics, ion exchange resins and special rubbers, in photocureable coating, photosensitive resist and intermediate for flame retardant. It is generally available in liquid form. However, to make the handling part easier it is phlegmatised with a carrier and converted in the powder form. It is slightly in alkane, soluble in aromatic hydrocarbon, ethyl alcohol, acetone and halogenated hydrocarbon.

DCP is an organic dialkyl peroxide chemically identified as dicumyl peroxide and is used as a cross-linking agent for synthetic and natural elastomers and polyolefins such as polyethylene and ethylene vinyl acetate. This peroxide is noted for its non-blooming characteristic and high reactivity at medium processing and curing temperatures. Due to DCP's half life, this peroxide encompasses a good compromise of scorch safety and cure rate.

Sulphur is a chemical element which is abundant, multivalent and nonmetallic. Under normal conditions, sulphur atoms form cyclic octatomic molecules. Elemental sulphur is a bright yellow crystalline solid at room temperature. The greatest commercial use of the element is the production of sulphuric acid for sulphate and phosphate fertilizers and other chemical processes . The element sulphur is used in matches, insecticides and fungicides. Many sulphur compounds are odoriferous and the smells of odorized natural gas, skunk scent, grapefruit and garlic are due to organosulphur compounds .
