Zinc oxide is an inorganic compound with the formula ZnO. ZnO is a white powder that is insoluble in water, and it is widely used as an additive in numerous materials and products including rubbers, plastics, ceramics, glass, cement, lubricants, paints, ointments, adhesives, sealants, pigments, foods, batteries, ferrites, fire retardants and first-aid tapes. Although it occurs mainly as the mineral zincite, most zincite, most zinc oxide is produced synthetically. It is majorly used in tandem with stearic acid as an activator of the curing system.

Stearic Acid is a saturated fatty acid with an 18-carbon chain and has the IUPAC name octadecanoic acid. It is a waxy solid and one of the most common saturated fatty acids founds in nature following palmitic acid. The triglyceride delivered from three molecules of stearic acid is called stearin. In general, the applications of stearic acid exploit its bifunctional character, with a polar head group that can be attached to metal cations and a nonpolar chain that confers solubility in organic solvents. The combination leads to uses as a surfactant and softening and softening agent.

Magnesium Oxide (MgO) or magnesia, is a white hygroscopic solid mineral that occurs naturally as periclase and is a source of magnesium. It is produced by the calcination of magnesium carbonate or magnesium hydroxide. MgO is prized as a refractory material, i.e. a solid that is physically and chemically stable at high temperatures. It has two useful attributes : high thermal conductivity and low electrical conductivity. MgO is used as a basic refractory material for crucibles. Also it is a principal fireproofing ingredient in construction materials.

Diethylene glycol(DEG) is an organic compound. It is a colorless practically odorless, poisonous and hygroscopic liquid with a sweetish taste. It is miscible in water, alcohol, ether, acetone and ethylene glycol . DEG is a widely used solvent. It can be a containment in consumer products; this has resulted in numerous epidemics of poisoning since the early 20th century. The chemical is produced by the partial hydrolysis of ethylene oxide. Diethylene glycol is used in the manufacture of unsaturated polyester resins, polyurethanes and plasticizers.
